Every Jawa knows you need to protect your belongings! So, for our sixth prop replica release, we have chosen the Droid Restraining Bolts!
This unique device, worn by the most iconic mechanical duo in movie history, is a fully machined aluminium piece and was carefully created using direct measurements from the original prop. The Droid Bolt measures approximately 50 x 50 mm in size. Every prop is hand painted based on available color references to do justice to the screen used props. This consists of various chemically weathered aluminium, black paint and accurate weathering patterns. Our signature premium aluminium display stand is included and measures 180 x 165 x 80 mm. It features a sleek matte black anodized finish, an engraved aluminum title plaque, and a piece of beige felt representing the Admiral’s uniform.
Three versions are available:
- R2 Restraining Bolt; features a magnetic restraining bolt with a centered bolt and weathering details that are true to R2’s movie prop, displayed on a weathered R2-D2 body backdrop.
- 3PO Restraining Bolt; features a magnetic restraining bolt with an off-center attachment and weathering details that are true to C-3PO’s movie prop, displayed on a weathered C-3PO body backdrop.
- 3PO Signature Edition; limited to only 25 pieces. This features all the details of the regular C-3PO restraining bolt but comes with display signed by Mr. 3PO himself: Anthony Daniels!
